O Divine Companion

O Divine Companion, be especially close to us to open our eyes when we seem blind to the truth, and to open our hearts to your spirit, when the cares of the world have crowdwed you out!  Give to those in Boston who have lost loved ones or were wounded by terrorist bombs, the assurance that you will never desert them but will fill their lives with your love and healing.  Where sickness or defeat cause our spirits to grow faint, instill in us the healing strength of your presence.  Humbly, we pray in your most blessed name.  Amen.
