The Power of the Resurrection

O Resurrected Christ, who appeared to your diciples when the world seemed desolate, make your presence known to us today, that we too, might shout with joy, "He is risen!  He is risen indeed!!"  We praise you for reclaiming us with your redeeming love and forgiveness and offering us the power of the resurrection and new life.  With your kingdom's might link our lives with the life everlasting.  Fill us as you did your disciples of long ago, with the strengrth and courage of  your resurrected life which has overcome our enslavement to things that pass away with the world.  Impart unto us now in this life the throbbing joy of inseparable fellowship with you and with all who love in your name in heaven and on earth.  Amen.
