Make Us One

We pray, O Father/Mother of all, that you will fill us all with the conviction that the gospel brings life for all.  Let your nearness inspire us to boldness, diligence, and patience.  May none of us rely on outward appearance or fleeting praise.  Make us one with all believers as we hold fast to the things which endure and rejoice in having experienced your presence in marvelous ways.  We pray in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

For The New Life

O Lord our God,  who has taught us the  blessedness of believing even though we have not seen, we thank you for the power that overcomes the world, even our faith, through which we have newness of life and strength.  Graciously grant us your peace, which the world cannot give or take away, and send us into the world to do your will. In Jesus' Name we pray.  Amen.

Newness of Life

O God of peace, fill our hearts with faith that with joy and thanksgiving that we may remember Christ has overcome the world, and Sin and death!  Inspire us in all our efforts to praise you.  In the name of him who brought us newness of life.  Amen.

The Power of the Resurrection

Triumphant Lord, grant that all off us may rejoice in the message of our glorious resurrection.  Strengthen our hearts as we face the trials and  temptations of this life.  May we be comforted by your victory!  Let your holy spirit come to those who have not yet accepted the gospel of your resurrection.  Awaken them so they might know the power of your resurrection and the joy of walking through all of life with you.  In your most glorious name we pray.   Amen.

For Grace To Follow

O Christ, who rose in triumph over the grave and conquered Sin and Death: teach us to look and see you standing on the everlasting shores of peace.  Give us the power of your Spirit to overcome the troubles of this world.  Give us grace, O Lord our God, to arise and leave all to follow you all our days.  We pray in your most blessed name.  Amen.

Grant Us True Gladness Of heart

God of all Goodness and Mercy; Fill our souls with the infuence of a spirit better and holier than our own.  Through your mercy cloth our souls again with the beauty of your goodness.  Reflect in our minds the mysteries of your Truth.  Hasten the growth of purity and compasion within our hearts.  In Jesus' Name we pray.  Amen.

God's Springtime

Everlasting God, whose glory is enthroned in the heavens and touches the earth with beauty; we praise you that your Spirit of life and power invades all creation and dwells in our souls.  You have made everything beautiful in its time and put eternity into our hearts.  We adore you for your love in Jesus Christ, coming to us like the joy, the hope and the promise of an everlasting springtime.  In his most glorious Name we do pray.  Amen.

Give Us The Assurance

Lord of both the living and the dead, grant to us the assurance of our faith, amid all the sorrows, trials, and temptations of our mortal state, and especially when we walk in the valley of the shadow of death, that there is reserved for us in heaven an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, which fades not away, and that our graves shall verify your glorious truth, "I am the resurrection and the life.."  We pray in your blessed name.  Amen.

O Risen and Conquering Lord, strengthen our faith that we may never doubt that you have conquered Satin, Sin and Death.  Give us the blessed assurance that we may also conquer, and day by day walk in the newness of life.  In your most blessed Name we pray.  Amen.

O Lord Christ, make us partakers of your great victory and of all the glorious fruits of your death and resurrection.  Grant that we no longer live in the power of Sin but become alive in the power of your Spirit.  Help us to live in the awareness of your promise, "Because I live, you shall live also."  In your most blessed name we pray.  Amen.

Disclose Your Treasures

O Risen Christ, disclose the treasures you hold dear in your Kingdom.  Send us into the world enriched and radiant, ready to serve you, in the consciousness that you, O living Lord, will visit every receptive heart.  Unto you be praise and glory for ever and ever.  Amen.

O Divine Companion

O Divine Companion, be especially close to us to open our eyes when we seem blind to the truth, and to open our hearts to your spirit, when the cares of the world have crowdwed you out!  Give to those in Boston who have lost loved ones or were wounded by terrorist bombs, the assurance that you will never desert them but will fill their lives with your love and healing.  Where sickness or defeat cause our spirits to grow faint, instill in us the healing strength of your presence.  Humbly, we pray in your most blessed name.  Amen.

Lord of Life

O Lord of life, we praise you that you reign in our hearts.  We thank you that your goodness and mercy endures even beyond the horrors of crucifixion or the shadow of death.  O blessed Christ, take the dimness of our souls away.  Let your comfort and your guiding be as the sunshine on a spring morning.  May your forgiveness of our sins bring a new surge of power for fresh growth toward a fuller life serving in your kingdom.  In your most blessed name we pray.  Amen.

Light To The World

O blessed Redeemer and Lord, Jesus Christ, who came to bring light to the world as a new dawn brings light to a new day; We thank and praise you for your glorious resurrection. You who are the Resurrection and the Life, abide with us that in our lives we may praise and bless you for your love and mercy. Amen.

Lead Us In The Way of Service

Abide with us now, our living Redeemer, and lift our spirits so we shall remain faithful to our calling.  Save us from murmuring against hard or monotonous duties.  Illumine our spirits in the darkness of temptation and the times of discouragement.  Lead us into the way of service and steadfastness until we run with joy to find that you meet each of us with the glorious power of God.  We ask it in your holy Name.  Amen.

God's Mystic Presence

O eternal God, who shared with us your glorious life in Christ; we thank you for your mystic presence, touching us tenderly yet powerfully as light caresses all growing things.  Even when life's meanings are not clear, your haunting nearness draws us to you.  Praise be unto you for your deathless love for your children.  In Jesus' Name we pray.  Amen.

The Abiding Prfesence of Christ

O God, who through the resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ from the dead, has delivered us from the power of darkness and into the Kingdom of your love, Grant, we pray, that as by his death he has he has called us to new life, so by his presence ever abiding in us may he raise us to joys eternal.  through him who for our sakes died and rose again, and is ever with us in power and great glory.  Amen.

Thanksgiving for the Resurrection

O God most high,  All praise and thanksgiving unto you for the multitude of your loving-kindness and tender mercies to all of us!  We praise you for the glorious resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord who has taken away the sins of the world; who by his death has destroyed death and by his resurrection has brought us everlasting live.  All praise and thanksgiving to you!!  Amen.

Almighty God, Who through the death of your son overcame sin dnd death, and through his resurrection brought light and life and immortality, that we, too, might live in your kingdom.  Help us, we beseech you, to bleieve with all our hearts the blessed story of the resurrection, to abide in this faith continually, and to bless and praise you always.  Through Jesus Christ, your son, our Lord.  Amen,

Evidences of Your Resurrection

We thank you for all the evidences of your resurrection, O Christ:  for the forces of good which are now at work in the world; for the heroism of those who do not fear death or imprisonment in spreading your gospel; for the power of truth to crush evil and to abide; for your Word which convicts our consciences; and for the vigilance of your Spirit which keeps us from straying from your Way.  In Your most Blessed Name we pray.  Amen.

Make Us One In Fellowship

Eternal God, who has shared with us your glorious life in Christ: Accompany us always on the lonely and troubled ways of life.  Make us one with others in a fellowship which reaches across the separations of sin and death.  Lift our eyes beyond buried hopes and dying dreams to your life of righteousness and love that abides forever!  Make us blessed in not having seen, yet believing that the risen Christ is the Lord of an everlasting kingdom.  In his Name we pray.  Amen.

The Power of the Resurrection

O Resurrected Christ, who appeared to your diciples when the world seemed desolate, make your presence known to us today, that we too, might shout with joy, "He is risen!  He is risen indeed!!"  We praise you for reclaiming us with your redeeming love and forgiveness and offering us the power of the resurrection and new life.  With your kingdom's might link our lives with the life everlasting.  Fill us as you did your disciples of long ago, with the strengrth and courage of  your resurrected life which has overcome our enslavement to things that pass away with the world.  Impart unto us now in this life the throbbing joy of inseparable fellowship with you and with all who love in your name in heaven and on earth.  Amen.
