O Divine Companion

O Divine Companion, be especially close to those who are grief stricken, or facing death or sickness.  Help them to know that you are as close to them as breath itself, and that you care for them.  Give them the assurance that through your life, death, resurrection and ascension, you have overcome the world.  Give all of us the strength of your Spirit, so that in the face of tribulation our faith will not grow weak.  In Jesus' Name we pray.  Amen.
