Let Our Days Be Markers of Joy

As we tremble in the midst of our hurrying days, O Lord, grant us an awareness that each life is long enough to love and be loved, that every face was meant to be turned uoward you, and that every heart was formed to beat with concern for our neighbors.  Eternal God, let our frail lives give evidence of the power of your love and the strength of your Spirit.  May our brierf hours and days be markers of joy, of kindness and of a deathless faith. In Jesus' Name we pray.  Amen.
