Instruments of Your Power

Almighty and Gracious Lord, who has befriended the unfortunate, the outcast and sorrowing; fill with your loving Spirit all those for whom life is harsh and painful.  Abide with those who endanger their lives for human safety and welfare.  Impart in the hearts of all of us, your followers, the knowledge that although we have your treasure in earthern vessels, you will preserve us through Him who loved us and gave himself for us, evern Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
