God's Love and Mercy

O Lord of life, we praise you that you reign in our hearts and homes and in the world.  We thank you that your goodness and mercy endure even when we sin aganst you and one another.  Come to our wondering, our confusion and our ignorance, O blessed Christ, and make your love real to each of us.  Take the dimness of our souls away.  Let your comfort and your guiding be as an everlasting light illumining the path of life.  In the name of the living Christ, we do pray.  Amen.
