General Thanksgiving

Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we offer you today our most heartfelt praise and thanksgiving for all your goodness and loving-kindness to us, your human children!  We praise you for our creation, preservation and all the blessings of this life; but above all, for your wonderful love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace and for the hope of glory.  Mercifuly use us this day and always as channels of your grace to the world in which we live, that we might bring praise to you by deeds and not words only.  In the name of Christ our Lord, we offer this prayer.  Amen.
