Comfort the Sick and Dying

O Lord, who has risen triumphantly from the grave:  Grant that the Easter message of your glorious resurrection may strengthen the hearts of all who struggle with temptation or with the trials and sorrows of life, especially those who have lost loved ones.  May they be comforted by the good news of your victory over death and the grave.  According to your rich mercy, remember the sick and the dying; refresh their languishing hearts and comfort them with the Word of Life.  May their tears give way to joy and their sighs to your praise.  Amen.
